Bienvenidos – welcome to our website! 


We are very excited to present our varied product lines that all began many years ago by the Cuellar Family and their love of Mexican food. The Cuellar Family was involved in many food businesses over the years. Quay Corporation was founded in 1982 by Victor and Hector Cuellar, two brothers from Cuernavaca,Mexico who grew up in Chicago and who saw an opportunity to fill a niche in the Chicago area ethnic market. The company began with a milk plant in Skokie, IL for manufacturing and marketing a high quality Mexican style sour cream, while maintaining the authenticity that 1st generation immigrants required in the marketplace.

Cream production began at this Grade A plant and the Margarita brand name was born! Distribution in the Chicago area was established and the demand for more products with the high quality Margarita brand resulted in the successful introduction of the cheese line with Fresco Cheese being the anchor. Our Cream and Cheese lines have expanded to meet the varied market needs and has helped establish Quay Corp as a mainstay in the Mexican Food Market. The Meat and Gelatin product lines were added in response to the growing Mexican market needs and has added variety, flavor and quality to a proud line of Mexican Food products. Our popular Cueritos and Chorizo products are made at our own Lincolnwood plant and are the base for our popular meat product line.

Today Quay Corp is sold and distributed in the Chicago and Midwest market with Distributors in the Southwest and Southeast markets such as Houston and Atlanta areas.
